The general goal of the Remote Sensing Center is to produce knowledge, theories and methodologies that allow the characterisation and comprehension of the dynamics of rural spaces and territories and to master spatial information on these systems so that approaches for knowledge, territorial development and agri-environment management can be developed. Towards this end, the Remote Sensing Center conducts applied or interventional research in which the researchers interact with the actors to identify, create and monitor agri-environmental and territorial projects. The researchers contribute thus to the creation of specific methods and tools adapted to the project. They capitalise field experiences acquired in different thematic contexts by producing scientific knowledge and generic methods and tools. |
