| | | PEER European network (Partnership for European Environmental Research) organizes next 14, 15 and 16 of November in Montpellier (France) the seminar "Global Earth Observation and Environmental Monitoring : the role of geoinformation " with participation of the EU Commission (DG Research). |
During two days, this seminar will join together prescribers and scientists. Are planned to participate to the seminar European Commission representatives, European Agency of the Environment, JRC/IES as well as scientific representatives of the 7 PEER research institutes but also University of Laval (Canada) and Environmental Protection Agency (USA). The seminar is opened to the scientific community in geoinformation and not exclusively to the PEER members. The third working day, November 16th, intern to the PEER network, will be held just after the conferences and exploits the recommendations to build a research agenda in geoinformation for environmental issues to contribute to programs concerned by the 7th Framework Program (FP7).
